13th May 2009 - In July 2009, The Mayhew Animal Home veterinary surgeon and Afghanistan national Dr. Abdul Jalil Mohammad Zai will be visiting the country to work at training the veterinary staff at the Veterinary clinic and also Kabul Zoo. We will report his progress here.
9th February 2009 - Sgt Penny Farthing of Nowzad Dogs came to The Mayhew with Bear, an Afghanistan dog for re-homing. Read it here. Also, please look to buy the account of Sgt.
